Clement is a 25 year old white man. His mother immigrated from Scotland with her parents when she was three. She had Clement when she was 20. His father is French Canadian and originally from the island, but became estranged when Clement was seven, so Clement uses his mother’s last name and lives with her and his grandparents. He is tall and thin with dark brown hair that he often keeps under a tuque. His cheeks and nose are usually wind chapped and pink from being out on the boats, and his hair always sticks up from the salt water.
Clement followed his granddad’s footsteps into the fishing business from a young age. His granddad owns a small boat that they keep docked at _. Because of his age and a bad hip, his granddad can’t go out as much as he wants to, so Clement has been caring for the boat on the off days until the hip replacement surgery. When he isn’t on the boat, Clement plays guitar in a local band called Mother Oak with a few of his friends. They play grunge music that Clement will sometimes bring in his more traditional folk training into.
